Hi, I'm Gerard, 27 years old
from Barcelona

For years, I’ve been uncovering a Japan that most travelers never see. My journey wasn’t spent in hotels, but on the road, hitchhiking across the islands and living for an entire year in a camper van.

This unconventional lifestyle caught the attention of TV Tokyo, leading to my feature in three episodes of the national show YOUは何しに日本へ？.

After seven expeditions and thousands of miles exploring remote towns and local traditions, I stopped traveling like a visitor and started living like a local. Now, I use that firsthand expertise to help you discover the authentic Japan, the one that exists far beyond the guidebooks.
